Lightweight Tent

If you are a backpacker, there is one thing that can make or break a backpacking trip: the weight of your equipment. The less weight you have to carry, the more comfortable and enjoyable your trip will be. This is where lightweight tents come in handy. Tiger Wall Platinum offers you the ultimate in lightweight, fast-packing tents.

Single-Pole Architecture

It is a fact that backpacking can be difficult.

The weight of your pack on your shoulders, the soreness in your feet and legs, the heat from the sun—are all factors to consider when you’re planning an outdoor adventure.

But one thing that many people ignore is how important it is to have a strong single-pole architecture for backpackers.

A single-pole tent is faster to set up, more portable, and more comfortable than a double-pole tent.

Plenty Of Storage Including Overhead Pockets For Your Phone

This is a perfect tent if you’re looking to have plenty of storage, including overhead pockets for your phone, as well as media pockets located above your sleeping area. With double sliders on the vestibule zippers, this is also a great choice if you want some fresh air with protection in case it rains. There’s just so much to love about this tent and it would be a great addition if you’re looking for the best 2 person tent for backpacking purposes.

It's A 2-Person Tent

It’s important to remember that a 2-person tent means there is enough room for two adults 5 foot, 10 inches in height sleeping next to each other in mummy sleeping bags to fit.

So a 2-person tent really means 1 person plus their gear.

Though if you are backpacking in bear country, remember to keep your food and toiletries out of your tent!

Lightweight and compact design make it easy to carry on a backpacking trip

The best backpacks for people who love to travel are ones that have a lightweight and compact design.

This is important because it means you’ll be able to carry the backpack on your back with ease, as well as store it in your pack without taking up too much space.

Have a space to sleep, organize, and store everything you need for the night

As a backpacker, it can be difficult to find a place to sleep and store all of your stuff. The last thing you want is to have everything in your bag mixed up with the mess that’s already there. That’s why I recommend getting yourself one of these ultralight backpacking tents.

The Tiger Wall Platinum is the ultimate 2-person backpacking tent. This ultralight, fast-packing tent provides you with plenty of space for two people to sleep comfortably and a dry entry door design that keeps your interior from getting wet when entering or exiting.

With crazy light materials that keep down the weight, this is a must-have for every long backpacking trip where every ounce counts!

When you are going backpacking make sure that you choose a tent with these features:

• Lightweight and packs down easily for easy backpacking trips

• Dry entry design to prevent getting wet when entering or exiting the tent

• Durable materials that hold up in all weather conditions

Does The Tent Come With A Footprint?

Unfortunately, the tent does not come with a footprint. You can choose to buy a tarp to use as a footprint or you can pack along some Polycro or Tyvek instead. These are lighter weight and we cover them in detail in this article.

When Should Kids Start Camping?

There is no perfect age when kids can start camping. I know people who have taken newborns camping, and I know those who cannot take children camping until they are at least two, but the average age that I have experienced is closer to five or six.

Figure out what works for your kids and yourself. Yes, even toddlers and infants can go in the tent if needed (and/or sleep in a pack and play).

Of course, kids need to know how to follow rules and be safe. They need to learn to not to interact with the wildlife, to be safe around fire, and what to do if they get lost.

If you are in bear territory, it’s even more important to keep food out of your tent. And if you do see a bear, be calm but pick your child up. This will make you look like an even bigger threat to the bear plus reduce the chances the bear might see your child as prey.

Don’t freak out at this, millions of people go camping with kids and nothing happens beyond having a good time.
