Grilled Cheese Hot Dogs
Compound Butter Ingredients:
- 1 4-oz. stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large head roasted garlic, minced
- ΒΌ t. salt
Hot Dogs
- 1 package of hot dogs
- 1 package of your favorite shredded cheese
- 1 package of hot dog buns
Instructions:
To make the compound butter, combine the softened butter, minced roasted garlic, and salt in a bowl. Stir until everything is well mixed, ensuring the garlic cloves are broken up and evenly spread throughout the butter.
On a griddle or skillet, melt a spoonful of the compound butter. Once the butter is ready, warm up the hot dogs.
Spread butter on all of the hot dog buns. If you have room on the griddle or in another skillet, toast the buttered side of the hot dog buns.
Once hot dogs are warm and the buns lightly toasted, put the hot dogs in the buns. Cover with your cheese.
Once cheese starts to melt, fold the buns together like a grilled cheese sandwich.
Toast both sides of the buns to your preferred level of doneness.
