Bears and Trees is a single-player based on Tic Tac Toe. The game uses Bears for "X" and Trees for "O".

Each puzzle comprises a 6x6 grid containing Bears and Trees in various places.

The object is to place Bears or Trees in the remaining squares so that:

1. There are no more than two consecutive Bears or Trees in a row or column
2. The number of Bears is the same as the number of Trees in each row and column
3. All rows and all columns are unique
4. The bears and trees in the colored squares cannot be changed
